Bagels & Coffee

Ask me anything   Submit !   Montreal is a dirty and sexy city. Bagels and Coffee is a mix of everything and...anything else that goes through my mind. Email : bagels.coffee@gmail.com

in Quebec we like to set ourselves apart by saying we live a more European way of life…that’s partially true as the only thing that’s Euro about us is the fact that it’s easier to find a bakery and a good coffee in Montreal or Quebec than anywhere else in North America.

We use to be much more open minded…following the quiet revolution in the 60’s…then somewhere in the early 2000’s we started being prudish again. The sight of sensual women have started scaring the masses of conservative quebecois.

Beatrice Martin, aka Coeur de Pirate recently participated in a great retro pin up shoot for the French magazine L’Officiel Hommes. Of course, prudes from all the corners of the province are acting like scandalized virgins. Suck it up folks. She’s not doing this because she needs to- she’s popular enough in both French and Quebecois markets, she’s doing this because she wants to.

The shots are great, of great taste and she looks amazing in them. Voila - if it bothers you so much, sip on your coffee and go back to reading your Journal de Montreal.
